What a great day to be on the water. We had a GREAT turn out, probably close to 40 canoes & kayaks, including instructors & safety boaters. The weather could not have been better, upper 70's low 80's. The wind reared its head every now and then, but nothing the students couldn't handle. We had experienced paddlers just wanting a spring refresher to brand new 'newbies' getting their feet wet 'so to speak'. All were tired by the end of the day, but a very rewarding day. If you've ever wanted to up your skill level, strive to become an ACA instructor. It's a lot of work at times, but well worth the effort.
