Details: The annual PSC picnic is always an enjoyable time to connect with fellow paddlers. Join us 11:00am to 4:00pm at Hidden Lake Forest Preserve, at the NW corner of Downers Grove. Enter from Rt. 53, just south of Butterfield Rd (Rt. 56). PSC will provide water, paper goods, and plastic ware. Please bring a picnic lunch for you and your family, optional - a dish to share, plus sun block and chair(s). Fun activities will include:
- Paddling on the lake (feel free to bring your boat)
- Try-a-boat: test paddle a variety of boats
- Gear swap (Bring good stuff you no longer need, find new stuff to take home)
- Lawn games
No alcoholic beverages. PFDs must be worn at all times on the water.
