This will be an out and back paddle (no car shuffle), going upstream on the Des Plaines to the Brandon Road Lock and Dam and returning to Rock Run. This is an end of season paddle, with cold weather and cold water conditions. Dress for conditions and possible immersion - dry suit or wet suit recommended along with a dump bag of extra clothing. PFD required, bring along water and lunch/snacks.
