Date: Sunday, November 19, 2023 Leader: Dave Watts Co-Leader: Location: Yorkville, IL Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Category: Day Trip Details: We will be paddling approximately a 7 mile stretch on Fox River. This section is a great scenic fall afternoon paddle. This will be from the Yorkville City launch (downstream of the WW Park) to Millbrook, IL (Shuh Shuh Gah Launch)
Must wear a PFD, bring a lunch/snack, as we will stop at Silver Springs State Park. It is forecasted to be a partly sunny afternoon with temps in the upper 40's - lower 50's with a moderate south breeze.
Car Shift at 10:30am.
A FULL change of clothes in a dry 'dump' bag is required in case of a swim. Dress for the cold water temperatures, NOT the sunny air temperatures
