Date: Sunday, July 9, 2023 Leader: Rich Rothrock Co-Leader: Location: Eleanor Boathouse, Chicago Skill Level: Advanced beginner Category: Day paddle trip Details: We will meet at Eleanor Boathouse at Park 571 which has an address of 2754 S. Eleanor Street, Chicago. Approximately two blocks east of Ashland on Archer Avenue turn North on Lock St. Follow Lock Street two blocks north and arrive at Eleanor Street. No car shift. Launch at 10:00 a.m. This is a scouting trip. Tentative plan is to paddle northward to Ping Tom Park, then return southward and paddle down the Bubbly Creek section of the river. Bring PFD, water, lunch.
