I agree with Dave. I understand the need to be safe, but really having a multi page questionnaire is a bit much.    I don't have to fill out a form when going into a store, or restaurant, why is it necessary for a club trip?  Should be as simple as 1) you are on your own for shuttle, unless another participant wants to be your shuttle buddy 2) wearing masks until on the water and 3) if you feel sick, don't come on paddles.   (I want to also point out that the one question on the form "Have you traveled Internationally" is totally irrelevant now.  The US is the leader in cases.)

To the Board and all involved,  I really appreciate all your time & hard work in shifting through all the various restrictions, etc. on how it affects our club and in particular on getting the trips back on line.  I understand the need for the club to have guidelines during this time and to take the necessary precautions to protect the paddlers and strive to keep us all safe.

I have read through most of it, but I'll admit, I haven't read through every 'jot & tittle'.  It is a bit over whelming for a trip leader, a lot of added responsibility and policing of the group.  I'm not sure a paddler will want to go through the extra work with all the required forms and all.

I'm not sure I want to venture into leading trips at this time, may even reconsider attending trips., for a time  I will take a 'watch & see' approach for awhile to see how it all pans out.

I hope to see all on the water soon, as I will be out and about.

    Dave W
