| Report: | | We enjoyed two days of paddling on this quaint little winding river. It had rained a little a couple nights before, which allowed for low but paddleable conditions, it was noticeably more shallow on the second day, but we did not have any problems. On the lower section, from Rockton to LaFarge we saw a lot of baby gosslings & ducks. The ducks would dive when we paddled past, then come out on the other side of our boats. The banks were just filled with bluebells and other spring flowers. Temps went down to freezing at night and Sunday morning we had snow flurries with breakfast. |
