Report:   Although the trip starts in town, it has the feel of isolation. No bridges cross this stretch. Few houses are seen. There are several river accessed campsites on the river. Many pine trees dot the landscape, along with large sandbars. We saw many golden and bald eagles, both mature and immature, up close. What an awesome sight!
