Details: These moving water coached canoe workshops are ideal for anyone looking to practice or develop greater skills on the river. We will individually address your needs, your frustrations, your desire for new skills or techniques. Focused training, focused learning—repetition is the key to perfection.

You will be exposed to proven techniques that will improve your skills in Body/ Boat/Blade awareness, eddy turns, peel-outs, ferries and surfing. The real fun begins when we practice linking moves up and down the river.

These are ongoing, monthly workshops. Saturday sessions will begin April 11 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and continue on the second Saturday of each month. Sessions will run through the second Saturday of October.

Please bring the following equipment:

Canoe—solo or tandem
Paddle and spare
Helmet
Throw Bag
PFD
River Shoes
Water Bottle/Snacks
Weather/Season/Water Temperature-Appropriate Clothing
Positive Mental Attitude
